Eva Rorandelli is an Italian-American fashion designer and artist from Florence, Italy. Since 2015, she has been the founder, CEO, and Creative Director of Evaro Italia, a luxury fashion house dedicated to timeless elegance and Made in Italy craftsmanship.
Her earlier work in painting, performance, and video art explored themes of identity, beauty, and transformation, laying the foundation for her work in fashion today.
Eva Rorandelli's artistic work explores perceptions of identity and reality in a world increasingly shaped by mass media, fashion, and technology. Her paintings feature larger-than-life figures in surreal environments, often frozen in ambiguous poses, questioning traditional representations of the human form and its relationship to contemporary society. These figures inhabit imaginary spaces where the boundaries between the natural and artificial become increasingly blurred.
Through painting, fashion, and video art, her work examines the relationship between imagination and reality, appearance and essence. Combining traditional painting techniques with unconventional materials, textiles, and imagery, she explores themes of transformation and metamorphosis. Fashion serves as both a visual language and a means of questioning established ideals of beauty and identity, anticipating themes that would later inform her work as a fashion designer.
