Fractures
"The work of Italian artist Eva Rorandelli presented by the Christine Fréchard Gallery in the exhibition 'Fractures' (2012), investigates the values that form from our often ambiguous and contradictory reality and its mediation by technology. The paintings and video installations often feature figures, who are dazed in reaction to their technological surroundings. In her recent work Rorandelli has been experimenting with collaged materials and body-extending costumes to make hybrid textile 'skins' for these figures to inhabit...
